This video is a quick tutorial on how to install Strange UI on Age of Conan. Please read the description Music: Lost Within by A Himitsu No Copyright Sounds ( Creative Commons Music Royalty Free ) Links are shortened with google URL shortener Strange UI thread on official forums: Download AoC UI Installer: Yorgomir Waypoints thread: What is Aoc.exe by Foxcat: 'aoc.exe is a launcher like AoCQS, it skips the patcher and keep your custom UI up to date through patches.
It is developed to allow for full integration of custom flash elements in game, but can be used to get custom waypoints, mouse pointers or other customizations patched into Default folder on each game start and have it returned to your original vanilla installation on game exit. It does check for updates and invoke the patcher if there is a pending update. Otherwise it'll skip the Conan patcher by default.
You can, should you want to, hold shift+F8 before you start the game, it'll force the patcher to appear, for reading news, change settings, do database integrity check or restore corrupted parts of the default UI. While alt+F8 skips the check for updates, forcing the game to start should you get caught in an infinite update loop.

Making a little guide here on how to install and use a Custom UI. First thing you want to do is download and install AOC UI Installer. Can be found here. Once you have that you can pick witch custom UI you want.
Will post 3 links here that i highly recommend checking out and the latest link i'm currently using. When you have downloaded the UI of your choice open up the AOC UI Installer. There you will see Age of Conan path. The field under it will be blank so just press the three dots on the side and locate were you have installed your Age of Conan game. Once that is done, go to Select UI zip file.
That field will be blank there to. Press the three dots and locate were you downloaded the custom you wanted. Then you have some options so select bar size. If you are unsure what the different bars looks like go back to the page were you downloaded the custom UI and check the screenshot posted there or you can just try them all out on the go. Just follow the path mention above again. When that is done and your ready to check out your brand new custom UI.
Press the Install button next to the Select bar size and your good to go. There is also More options button that you can pressed once you have selected your bar size but il let you play around with that by yourself.
Some people are worried that a custom UI will mess up your game or if it's a illegal tool to use. Well, for the mess up your game part. I have used a custom you well over 2 years and haven't noticed any weird behaviors from the game by using a custom UI. For the last concern.
No, i'm pretty sure its not a illegal tool to use. Never heard that is and on the official Age of Conan forums they have their own custom UI section. Hope this little wall of text guide helps. Enjoy your new custom UI and see you in game. PS: After each update in game you have to go back to the AOC UI Installer. Open it and under Patch UI files there is a button Patch. Press it and your Custom UI will be working again.
